Policies:
1) Treatment of invalid credit cards.
- At the time of sign-up, ADrive will not create an account for you.
- After the account has been created (future billing cycles);
- ADrive will bill your credit card on the first (1st) day of the new billing cycle and ADrive will inform you of the charges.
- If ADrive cannot process the credit card info, ADrive will attempt to bill your credit card once a day for four (4) more days. A total of 5 attempts will be made.
- After the fifth (5th) attempt, ADrive will suspend your account. ADrive will email you to inform you that your credit card information is incorrect. At which time, you will have to contact ADrive at billing@adrive.com to restore your account.
- You will have ninety (90) days to contact ADrive to restore your account before your account will be canceled.
- If you contact ADrive within ninety (90) days from the date of cancellation, ADrive will still hold you responsible for payment from the first time your credit card information was not processed.
2) Requests to upgrade your ADrive account to a larger storage plan
- The upgrade will take effect immediately upon receipt of the upgrade request and your credit card will be charged.
- ADrive will email you a new invoice stating that your account has been upgraded to a larger storage capacity.
- ADrive will prorate your first bill to reflect any unused portion of your old account and subtract the prorated amount from the new charges.
- The day of the upgrade will now be your new billing day start date.
- On the subsequent billing start date, ADrive will charge your credit card the total amount of the new account price.
3) Requests to downgrade your ADrive account to a smaller storage plan.
- ADrive will perform a check on the amount of storage you are currently using
- If the current size of your ADrive account is above the requested storage amount, ADrive will inform you that you must remove files. You must remove any files of your choosing and attempt to downgrade your account again.
- If the current size of your ADrive account is below the requested storage amount, then the request will be processed immediately and your credit card will be charged.
- If condition 3.a.ii is met
- ADrive will send an email indicating that the account storage capacity has been accepted.
- ADrive will start a new billing cycle from the date of the accepted downgrade.
- ADrive will prorate your first bill to reflect the total charge for the new storage amount minus the prorated cost from your old storage amount.
- On the subsequent billing start date, ADrive will charge you the full cost for the new storage amount.
4) Requests to change your ADrive account from a monthly payment plan to an annual payment plan.
- ADrive will immediately change your billing cycle and charge your credit card accordingly.
- ADrive will prorate the first bill. The bill will reflect the total cost of an annual plan minus the unused portion of your monthly plan.
- On the subsequent billing start date, ADrive will charge you the full amount for the new annual plan.
5) Requests to cancel your ADrive account.
- ADrive does not offer refunds for any unused portion of a canceled account.
- Your account will be active until the end of your current billing cycle.
- ADrive will send out an email regarding the cancelation.
6) Credit card expiration date.
- ADrive will send you an email regarding this information 30 days prior and then again 5 days prior to the expiration date.
- You are responsible for updating and maintaining your correct credit card information.
- If your credit card cannot be properly charged, ADrive will take action as described in #1 above.
7) ADrive account billing cycle – monthly.
- ADrive will email you on the first day of your new billing cycle.
- The email will contain charges for the next month’s service.
8) ADrive account billing cycle – annual.
- ADrive will email you 10 days prior and then again on the first day of your new billing cycle.
- The email will contain charges for the next year’s service.
