This Billing Policy is subject to and incorporated into the ADrive Terms of Service (the "Agreement") between You and ADrive. You may access the Agreement at www.adrive.com/terms. Capitalized words within the Billing Policy not defined herein have the meaning given to them in the Agreement. By consenting to the Agreement and installing, accessing or using the ADrive Services, You are agreeing to this Billing Policy and the terms contained herein.
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and PayPal are all accepted online.
You may elect monthly, annual or one-time payment(s) depending on the Subscription Plan You choose. For monthly plans, the billing period is one calendar month and You will be automatically billed in advance of the next month's service period. For annual plans, the billing period is twelve months and You will be billed in advance on the first day of service. For multi-year plans, the billing period is either twenty-four or thirty-six months depending on the Subscription Plan You choose, and You will be billed for the entire period, in advance, on the first day of the service period. Payments made prior to the expiration date of the current service period will extend service from the existing expiration date, not the payment date. ADrive will email You prior to the expiration period of any service period with the next service period's charges.
For a storage upgrade, the upgrade will take effect immediately upon receipt of the upgrade request at which time your credit card or PayPal account will be charged accordingly according to the following:
(i) ADrive will email you a new invoice stating that Your account has been upgraded to a larger storage capacity.
(ii) ADrive will prorate Your first bill to reflect any unused portion of your old account and subtract the prorated amount from the new charges.
(iii) The day of the upgrade will now be Your new billing period start date.
(iv) On the subsequent billing start date, ADrive will charge Your credit card or PayPal account the total amount of the new account price.
At any time prior to the expiration of Your service period, You have the right to downgrade Your storage size ("Service Downgrade") prior to the next service period by sending an email to billing@adrive.com. ADrive will send an email indicating that the Service Downgrade request has been received. On the subsequent billing period start date, ADrive will charge You for the new storage amount. After a Service Downgrade, You will be responsible for ensuring Your folder size does not exceed Your allotted storage, or files may be deleted when the new service period commences.
You may change Your ADrive account from a monthly plan to an annual or multi-year plan at any time during the current service period. ADrive will immediately change Your billing cycle and charge Your credit card or PayPal account accordingly. Changes in Your service period will extend the service period from the existing expiration date, not the payment date.
ADrive does not offer refunds for any unused portion of a canceled account. After cancelling Your account, Your account will remain active until the end of Your current billing cycle and ADrive will send You an email confirming the cancellation. You may only cancel Your account by clicking the "cancel account" button on the Account Settings page. ADrive will not accept cancellations emailed to support@adrive.com or any other email address.
ADrive processes payment(s) as follows:
(i) ADrive will bill your credit card or PayPal account on the first (1st) day of the new billing period and ADrive will inform You of the charges.
(ii) If ADrive cannot process the credit card or PayPal account, ADrive will attempt to bill Your credit card or PayPal account once a day for four (4) more days. A total of 5 attempts will be made;
(iii) After the fifth (5th) attempt, ADrive will suspend Your account. ADrive will email You to inform You that Your credit card or PayPal account information is incorrect. At which time, you will have to contact ADrive at billing@adrive.com to restore Your account. You will have ninety (90) days to contact ADrive to arrange for payment and restore Your account before Your account will be permanently canceled.
ADrive will send You an email regarding an expiring credit card thirty (30) days prior and then again five (5) days prior to the Your credit card expiration date. You are responsible for updating and maintaining accurate and correct credit card or PayPal account information. In the event Your credit card or PayPal account cannot be properly charged, ADrive will follow the procedure set forth in Paragraph G above.
